Assemblyman Jim Wheeler To Talk Politics At The Gold Hill Hotel on June 23
(Virginia City) – Assemblyman Jim Wheeler will talk politics in a presentation, “The Republican Party in Nevada,” on Thursday, June 23 at the Gold Hill Hotel’s Thursday Night Presentations.
Wheeler represents the 39th District, comprised of Douglas County, Storey County and part of Lyon County, and serves as Majority Whip.
He was first elected in Nov. 2012 and has served in two regular and three special sessions. He has served on the Transportation Committee, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Mining, Committee, Judiciary Committee, the Legislative Committee for the Review and Oversight of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and the Marlette Lake Water System, the Commission on Special License Plates, the Legislative Committee on Senior Citizens, Veterans and Adults with Special Needs.
Tickets can be purchased to the presentation only or dinner as well.
Dinner is from 4-8 p.m.; the presentation begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Room of the Gold Hill Hotel.
