Cowboy Singer, Poet To Share Songs and Stories At Gold Hill Thursday Night Presentation Jan. 14

     (Virginia City) – Tom Zachry, retired Dayton schoolteacher, cowboy singer and poet will share songs, poems and stories of old-time Dayton characters – including Rocky Adamson, at “Tom’s Fairly Western” Western, folk and original songs, stories about the good old days in Dayton and Virginia City” at the next Gold Hill Hotel’s Thursday Night Presentations at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 14, 2016.

     Zachry taught at the Dayton Elementary School for about 30 years. The title of his show comes from a comment former Dayton Constable Rocky Adamson made when asked if Zachry was a cowboy. “Tom’s fairly Western.” It will be a great bunch of stories!

  • Dinner is from 4-8 p.m. at the Crown Point Restaurant at the Gold Hill Hotel with several menu options offered.
  • The presentation begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Room.
  • The cost is $25 for the dinner and presentation and $10 for the presentation only.
